Why UK Drivers Choose Euro Permits

Confused by V5C-to-French data mapping?

The French government portal asks for emission data in formats that don't match your UK V5C logbook. Wrong classification can mean fines even with a sticker. We handle the technical interpretation for you.

Do I Need Crit'Air for a Disneyland Paris Drive in 2026?

Disneyland Paris (located in Marne-la-Vallée, 32 km east of Paris) is outside the Paris ZFE zone. The standard route from Calais via the A26/A1 ring roads to the A4 can bypass the restricted areas entirely.

However, if you take alternative routes, encounter diversions, or plan to visit Paris itself, you'll need a valid Crit'Air sticker. Traffic diversions and side trips can easily take you through ZFE zones where fines start at €68. Having your sticker ready means you're covered for any route changes.

ZFE Risks on Ski Routes to Chamonix, Val Thorens & Les Arcs

If you're driving to the French Alps, Lyon, Grenoble, and Annecy are all ZFE zones as of 2026. Many ski routes may take you through or near these cities, where a valid Crit'Air vignette is required within the restricted zones.

Get your Crit'Air sticker sorted before you pack your skis — while major motorway bypasses are typically exempt, any diversions or fuel stops in city centres will require a valid sticker.

Crit'Air for Eurocamp, Gîtes & Loire Valley Holidays

Driving to your Eurocamp site or rented gîte? Major cities including Tours, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and Montpellier now have ZFE zones. If your route takes you through these city centres, or if you stop for shopping, fuel, or sightseeing, a Crit'Air sticker is required.

Families with caravans and motorhomes should be particularly careful — older vehicles may not meet the required emissions standards for city centre access.

Major ZFE Cities Banning Older UK Cars in 2026

Approximately 30 additional French cities enforce stricter low-emission zones in 2026, bringing the total to around 42. Many zones now restrict Crit'Air 3 vehicles (diesel registered before 2011, or petrol before 2006) from entering during weekday hours.

We calculate your vehicle's Crit'Air category from your V5C registration document and ensure you receive the correct classification. Fines start at €68 for cars (€135 for heavy vehicles), rising to €180 if unpaid.
