About Euro Permits

A few years ago we toured France, Spain, and Portugal in our motorhome. Everything was perfect until we tried to apply for a French Crit'Air sticker on the official website. The forms were confusing, the error messages made no sense, the site kept crashing, and we spent hours trying to shrink photos of our V5C to fit the upload limit. It was the most stressful part of the whole trip.

Fast-forward to today: we now live in rural Spain, run a YouTube channel about running our homestead here, and help hundreds of British drivers every year get their Crit'Air vignette without the headache.

Why drivers still choose us (even though the official site has improved a bit)

  • The site is in French by default, but there's now a language selector for English (though it doesn't translate everything perfectly).
  • Most smartphone photos are still bigger than the 5 MB limit and need resizing.
  • Peak-season crashes and unexplained rejections are common.
  • One tiny mistake on the form (wrong date format, wrong field for UK plates, etc.) and the application is rejected with a cryptic message.
  • Many people simply don't have the time or confidence to wrestle with it.

What we do – simple, honest, official

  • 1.You send us the details and photos/scans of your V5C (front + back, as the official site requires all pages). No need to resize or translate anything—we handle that.
  • 2.We complete the exact same official French government application for you at certificat-air.gouv.fr.
  • 3.We pay the official €5.11 fee on your behalf.
  • 4.As soon as the certificate is issued (usually within 48 hours), we email you the official downloadable PDF straight away.
  • 5.The PDF is legally valid the moment you receive it – you can drive in all French low-emission zones immediately, even before the physical sticker arrives by post.

Transparent pricing – no surprises

Official French fee: €5.11 (includes VAT and postage of the sticker)

Total price: £19.95 all-in — includes the €5.11 French government fee

The vignette is valid for the lifetime of the vehicle.

Important

We are a private, independent assistance service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the French government. We simply use the official public website on your behalf – exactly the same forms you would fill in yourself, just done quickly and accurately.

Whether you're planning a quick Channel crossing, a Paris city break, or a full motorhome tour of France, let us take the Crit'Air hassle off your plate so you can get back to enjoying the drive.
