1. Agreement to Terms
By placing an order with Euro Permits, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service.
2. Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Waiver)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a service contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
However, by placing an order you expressly request that we begin processing your application immediately upon payment. By ticking the waiver confirmation at checkout, you acknowledge that:
- You are requesting that processing begins immediately
- Once processing has begun (i.e. your application has been submitted to the French portal), you lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
- If processing has not yet begun, you remain entitled to a full refund less payment processing fees (see Section 8 — Refund Policy)
3. Service Description
Euro Permits provides a Crit'Air vignette application processing service. Our service includes:
- Processing your application on the official French Crit'Air website
- Expert form completion and file handling
- Digital certificate submission within 24–48 hours of receiving all required documentation in acceptable quality
- Physical sticker delivery within 10 days (subject to French postal services)
We act as an intermediary service. The official Crit'Air vignette is issued by French authorities, and we facilitate the application process on your behalf.
4. Pricing
Our service fee is £19.95, which includes the French official site charge (€5.11) and our facilitation fee. All prices are clearly stated before purchase and include VAT where applicable.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the full amount stated at checkout. All payments must be made at the time of order.
6. Order Processing
Once your order is placed:
- You will receive an order confirmation by email
- We will process your application within 24–48 hours of receiving all required documentation in acceptable quality
- Your digital certificate will be emailed within 48 hours of successful submission to the French portal
- The physical sticker will be posted and typically arrives within 10 days
7. Document Requirements
To process your application we require a clear photograph of both sides of your V5C registration certificate. The photograph must show all four edges of the document, with text fully legible and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) clearly readable.
If the document you provide is of insufficient quality to complete your application:
- We will contact you promptly to request a replacement photograph
- You must provide a suitable replacement within 48 hours of our request
- If we do not receive an acceptable document within 48 hours, we reserve the right to close your order and issue a full refund less payment processing fees (charged by Stripe at the time of your transaction, typically £0.20–£0.60)
8. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our service:
- If your application has not yet been submitted to the French portal, you are entitled to a full refund less payment processing fees (charged by Stripe, typically £0.20–£0.60)
- Refunds cannot be issued once your application has been submitted to the French portal
- If we are unable to process your application due to inaccurate information provided by you, we reserve the right to decline a refund
- If you fail to provide acceptable documentation within the required timeframe (see Section 7 — Document Requirements), your order will be closed with a full refund less payment processing fees
- In the rare event that the French portal is unable to process or rejects your application, we will contact you immediately and issue a full refund less payment processing fees
- Delays in physical sticker delivery by French postal services are beyond our control and not grounds for refund
9. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete personal and vehicle information
- Uploading clear photographs of both sides of your V5C registration certificate, with all four edges visible and all text legible
- Responding promptly to any requests for additional documentation
- Providing a valid UK delivery address
- Checking your email (including spam folder) for the digital certificate from the French authorities
- Verifying that a Crit'Air vignette is required and suitable for your vehicle and travel plans
10. Delivery Timeframes
We aim to deliver your digital certificate within 48 hours of successfully submitting your application to the French portal. This timeline is contingent on receiving all required documentation in acceptable quality. Physical sticker delivery typically takes within 10 days but may be subject to postal service delays beyond our control, particularly during peak summer season (July–August) when delays of up to 4–6 weeks are possible. The digital certificate is valid for travel while awaiting the physical sticker.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by French authorities or postal services
- We are not responsible for fines incurred before receiving your vignette
- We are not liable for vehicle classification decisions made by French authorities
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for our service
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
12. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate information about Crit'Air requirements, French regulations may change. It is your responsibility to verify current requirements for your specific travel plans.
13. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is our property or licensed to us and protected by copyright laws.
15. Communication
By using our service, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your order. We will respond to inquiries within 24 hours during business days.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
18. Contact Information
For questions about these Terms & Conditions, please contact us through our contact form on the website.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms otherwise remain in full force and effect.
